Hosting an Exchange Student is an exciting thing To Do!Hosting is a rewarding experience that can create a life long friendship with your student. Below is an overview of the steps to get started:
1. Show Your Interest
Please complete the Host Family Inquiry Form. Your Local Representative will then contact you to provide you with an overview of the hosting experience.
2. Complete the Host Family Application
If you are interested in proceeding, you would then complete a Host Family Application. Once your application has been received, you will receive a link to complete a confidential Criminal Background Check. As soon as your application and the Criminal Background Check have been approved, your Local Representative will schedule a time to meet with you for your interview and provide a thorough Host Family Orientation.
3. Choose Your Student
Now comes the exciting part. Based on the hobbies and interests of your family, your Local Representative would personally select students for you. You will then be provided basic information of these students and asked to select the one that you would like to welcome to your home.
