Junior Exchange

The program is designed to help younger students gain the academic and cultural knowledge to begin their career in international exchange. Offered for a shorter time frame at 2 weeks, students can get a taste of a U.S. academic program without being away from home for long periods of time. It is also a less expensive option for parents who feel that their children need a head-start or perhaps would like to try a shorter term before enrolling them in a full year program.
Christian Heritage School students learn the value of hard work and strive for their highest potential. Not surprisingly, their graduates matriculate to prestigious colleges and universities, including the Ivy League schools, prominent private and Christian colleges, and many excellent state universities. By character, their students are challenged to develop compassion, self-discipline, integrity, sacrifice, and respect as characteristics that will serve them for the rest of their lives – long after they graduate from CHS.

One of New Hope Academy's greatest strengths is the fact that because they are a smaller school, they are able to individualize the educational program in order to better meet the unique nature, goals, and needs of each student. This is especially true at this high school: New Hope International High School. They are a small private school with an international emphasis reflected in vision and curricula, faculty from various countries and cultures, as well as more than one-fifth of their students being international students. They are located in metropolitan Washington, D.C. (in northern Prince George's County, MD), and are dedicated to academic excellence, personal attention, inter-cultural harmony, and character-building in a college prep high school.
Similar to the regular academic programs, juniors would participate in a full course of study while on the program and are required to participate in all academic requirements i.e.: tests, homework. Students would stay with school community families who are screened in the same manner as our F1 and J1 visa families. In these programs, students may travel using a tourist visa.
